**Casual Fitness Monitor**

The City of Cold Lake is seeking a qualified individual to fill the casual position of Fitness Monitor at the Energy Centre with the Department of Community Services.

Reporting to the Wellness Centre Programmer, the Fitness Monitor is responsible for customer service and the general appearance and neatness of the Wellness Centre. Duties will include, but will not be limited to, answering phones, data entry, and greeting members. The position is also responsible for wiping down the Wellness Centre equipment and other cleaning related activities. Facilitating opening and closing procedures as well as basic working knowledge of fitness equipment will be required.

**Qualifications/Competencies:**

* High School Diploma is required

* Preferred qualifications include Post-Secondary education in Recreation and/or Business Courses, Fitness specific Instructor Training and Accreditation, and First Aid with CPR.

* Experience in a Fitness or Recreational facility is an asset.

* Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint), and a recreation background.

* The preferred candidate will be available for evening and weekend shifts.
